The Syrup Collection is done by my sweet friend Vuyo Seripe!and I must say I'm So happy to have her back on the team. She is big on textures and colors, buttons and her earrings always make me fall in love. I love them, ALL!The Syrup Collection have been a big hit on Facebook. We got interest and more customers in Durban, De Aar and new customers in Jozi and Cape Town. We however can never make the same earring twice, but it could look similar. HEAVY EARRINGS???

I once had abit of an argument with a buyer from Ritual Stores (Jozi)

He tells me that my earrings were too heavy and I got defensive.
"they're abit heavy," I said " but also, they make a statememnt and people only have to wear them for a couple of hours- so it won't hurt..." This was a years ago.Since then, I have come across interesting facts about the heavy earrings.

1. They work well for magazine shoots as they stand out.
2. They also work well for tv purposes because of the same reason
3. They stretch your earlobe holes.
4. They cause great scarring when yanked by an unsuspecting passerby.
5. I DONT LIKE THEM!!

Kuhle Apha has no intention of making earrings that hurt our customers and Thats the truth!!

I still believe that my earrings weren't thaat heavy- but I prefer to be cautious nowadays.

My lightest earrings are in the picture shown above- made just from a silk cord. They are bright and funky- and it doesnt matter what size they are- They Stand Out!!

Oh, so while I was getting a massage by the Ponds ladies. . . At the "I am Woman" session, presented by Trevor Noah&Penny Lebyane&media24...
One of the girls was searching hard on the floor, for something valuable that she had lost-
An earring. Luckily I had new studs I have just made in my bag- so I gave her a pair of those.
Felt really good for saving the daywhen the woman came back a bit later to me to thank me.

"Thank you so much, I found it in my bra"
